Enrollment Steps for High School Students

College Early Start

Choose College Early Start if you plan to take Delta classes online or in person at a Delta campus . This includes regular high school students as well as students in Early College Pathway (Mountain House), Middle College High School, and DARTE (SB 554). Each high school or program determines whether your Delta course counts for high school credit. You pay no tuition or fees, but you are responsible for textbooks and class supplies.

You can take up to 11 units per semester.

Dual Enrollment

Choose Dual Enrollment if you plan to take Delta courses at your high school campus during the regular school day. You’ll be in class with students from your school or district. To find out whether your high school offers Dual Enrollment, contact your school counselor. You earn both high school and college credit.There is no tuition or fees, and you are not charged for textbooks or required classroom supplies.

You can take up to 15 units per semester.
